In September 2017 we had the pleasure to meet the MINISO design team at Maison & Objet in Paris. We never dreamed that this meeting would lead to a successful and very pleasant cooperation with this Japanese-Chinese retailer. In recent years we designed several products for the MINISO Original Design collection. In 2019 we even received a Silver European Product Design Award for our design Summer Series Mini Fan.

___Hand held fan for Chinese market

Why these 4 designs: 

When it’s really hot, you think of the hot sun or maybe a storm to cool down, a very cold ice cream or popsicle in combination with your lovely handheld fan from MINISO.

What makes this hand-held fan so unique?

The grill:

The four different grills of the handheld fan have a repeated figurative pattern of an iconic sun, a storm, an ice cream or a popsicle. This is unique because all existing fans only use repeated lines in the grill but never a figurative pattern!

The handle:

By turning the handle, the handheld fan adapts to his unique function:

Handle Folded: Very compact, easy to put in your bag. The textile string makes it possible to hang it up.

Handle completely unfolded: Easy to walk and to hold in your hand. The string can be wrapped around your wrist so that you don’t lose it.

Handle partly folded in various angles: Easy to put on your table. By turning the handle, you can choose the perfect angle to enjoy a cooling breeze from the fan.

The animal kingdom comes alive after the sun has set. These night lights are designed by Lucas & Lucas to illuminate your dreams. Three animals watch over you while you are sleeping. A bird from the sky, a whale from the sea, a rabbit from the earth. Wherever you go in your dreams, there is always an animal that accompanies you. The animals love to be petted, when you touch them, the light turns on. When you tap again the shine even brighter.
